Board Certification/Honors/Awards: Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  Membership in professional societies include the New York Academy of Sciences, American Medical Association and the European Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery, to name a few.  Listed in “Who’s Who in the World of Medicine 1997-1999.  He has been honored with Fellowships in the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Dentists, and the American Associates of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  

Academic/Clinical Appointments: Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He is also Visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Craniofacial Maxillofacial Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Wilhelms University in Muenster, Germany.  Attending surgeon at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York and an attending surgeon and Associate Director of Maxillofacial Surgery at the Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens, New York.  He is Chief of the Cranio-facial Clinic at the Mt Sinai School of Medicine in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery since 2000 and an Attending Surgeon in the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York.
